Sliced is an independent magazine for sandwich and design lovers alike. Each issue serves up engaging stories paired with striking photography and hand drawn illustrations. Balancing visual impact with readability is key in the design, operating with a 12pt baseline grid and 12 column layout.
Design Process
All illustrations were hand drawn by me, balancing clean typography in clear hierarchy with fun and humorous visuals. Balancing text, images and illustrations adds to the user experience, creating an approachable and engaging magazine.
